AOD CEU Workshop

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 2, 2026

Scope and contact

AOD CEU Workshop operates AODCEU.com to provide continuing education and learner records. This policy describes information handled through our website, learner accounts, purchases, and support. Contact [email protected] with privacy questions or requests.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide to create and use your account, such as your name, email address, account credentials, and any professional information you submit. We maintain purchase and discount records, course access, learning progress, application responses, assessment attempts and results, evaluations, attestations, certificates, and transcripts. We also receive information you send in support requests. Website hosting and security services may process technical information such as IP addresses, device or browser information, request times, and security events.

How information is used

We use information to operate and protect accounts; process purchases and employee passes; provide course access; save progress; assess completion; issue and maintain documents; send account and transaction messages; answer support requests; and address fraud, disputes, and recordkeeping obligations. Do not submit patient or client identities, treatment records, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive third-party information in course exercises or support messages. Use fictional or appropriately de-identified examples.

Service providers and disclosures

Cloudflare provides website hosting, storage, and security services. Stripe processes payments, and Brevo supports email delivery. These providers receive information needed for their services and also handle information under their own applicable privacy policies. Stripe receives payment details through its checkout; we receive order and payment-status information needed to fulfill and document purchases. Authorized administrators can review records for support, course administration, and document management. We may disclose relevant records when required by law, for an authorized provider or credentialing review, or to address fraud and protect legal rights. An employer discount or employee pass does not by itself authorize us to release your individual answers, scores, attestations, or transcripts to your employer. Such disclosure requires your authorization or another applicable legal basis.

Cookies and online tracking

The website uses session or similar technologies needed for sign-in and account operation. Hosting and payment providers may use their own technologies for security and service delivery. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or checkout from working. Our website does not currently change its data collection in response to a browser Do Not Track signal. Third-party service providers may independently collect information about your online activities over time and across websites under their own privacy policies. Contact [email protected] with questions about these practices or your privacy choices.

Your choices and requests

Email [email protected] to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity before responding. We will review requests under applicable law and explain any reason information must be retained. Account deletion may prevent further course access, but it does not necessarily erase required completion, financial, audit, or dispute records. Keep your own copies of certificates, receipts, and transcripts. If you receive optional promotional emails, use their unsubscribe option or contact us. Necessary account, payment, security, and course-service messages are separate from promotional emails.

Retention and security

We retain information for the purposes described in this policy, including account services, completion verification, financial recordkeeping, and applicable provider obligations. Retention depends on the record type and any unresolved legal or operational need. Course-access expiration does not automatically erase your account, purchases, progress, or completion records. Requests to close an account or delete information are reviewed individually; information needed for required recordkeeping, a dispute, or another applicable obligation may be retained. Backup copies may remain while they are needed for recovery and applicable recordkeeping. We use safeguards intended to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children and policy changes

This service is intended for professional continuing education and is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information. We will update this policy when our practices change and identify the effective date of each published version. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
